At long last!  Here is the interview I conducted with Skip Niles at the NCDA conference in Seattle in 2007.  Prof. Niles is a leading researcher in Career Development who has focussed on the developmental aspects of career development. In addition Spencer Niles has made a very significant contribution to the profession of career development. He is a past President of the NCDA, he is on the editorial boards of many journals and continues to be active in support of policy development in the USA and around the world.  In the interview he tells stories about his relationship with Donald Super and how Super influenced his theory and practice.  He also relates the perils for the counsellor of falling asleep during a session!

<itunes:summary>Here is the second Factory Podcast, which features a keynote address given by Jim Bright at the Pathways 8 conference at the Casino, Hobart, Tasmania, on 1st December 2006. The podcast provides a general introduction to some of the key notions in Pryor and Bright’s Chaos Theory of Careers (2003ab, in press). It also covers ideas about the relationship between probability thinking and possibility thinking (see also Pryor, Amundson and Bright, in press) for more details. It also includes an unplanned event at the end of the keynote!
Happy listening.
Cheers
Jim
